Privacy Policy

Kya Pehne ("the app", "we") is a wardrobe management and AI styling app operated by Saransh Mittal. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: your wardrobe is yours — we use your data only to run the product for you, and we don't sell it.
What we collect
- Account data — your login identifier (email or sign-in provider ID) and profile names you create (including family member profiles).
- Wardrobe data — photos of garments you add, and the details attached to them (category, colour, occasion, price, storage location, wear history, care status).
- Usage data — basic app analytics such as feature usage and crash reports, used to improve the app.
How your data is used
- Garment photos are processed by AI services to extract the clothing item from the image (creating the clean cutout in your wardrobe) and to suggest tags such as category and colour.
- Your wardrobe inventory is sent to an AI model when you request styling, so recommendations come from clothes you actually own. Prompts are limited to what's needed for the request.
- Wear history and care data power your own diary, reminders, and insights.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your photos to train AI models.
Where it lives
Data is stored with Supabase (database, authentication, and image storage) on infrastructure in secured data centres. Access to your rows is enforced with row-level security tied to your account. AI processing is performed by third-party providers (such as Anthropic for styling and image-processing services for garment extraction) under their respective data processing terms; they receive only the data needed to fulfil your request.
Shopping links
Product suggestions may open affiliate links (for example via Cuelinks to Myntra). If you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The retailer's own privacy policy applies on their site.
Payments
Premium subscriptions are billed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your card details.
Your choices
- Access & correction — edit or remove any wardrobe item, photo, or profile in the app at any time.
- Deletion — delete your account from the Profile tab; this permanently removes your account, photos, and wardrobe data from our systems.
- Questions — email saransh.mittal@gmail.com for any privacy request and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
Kya Pehne is not directed at children under 13. Family profiles for children should be created and managed by a parent or guardian's account.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we'll note it here with a new date, and in the app where appropriate.
