Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Kya Pehne mobile app and the kyapehne.in website, operated by Saransh Mittal (sole proprietor, India) ("we"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Kya Pehne. "Child" family profiles are for organising a wardrobe on behalf of a child in your care; the child is not a user of the service. How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

The service

Kya Pehne lets you digitise your wardrobe, receive AI-generated outfit suggestions, track garment wear and care, and organise storage locations. Some features are free with limits; others require a paid Premium subscription.

Your content

• You keep ownership of the photos and data you add. You grant us the limited licence needed to store and process them to provide the service to you.
• Only upload photos you have the right to use. Don't upload unlawful content.

AI features

Styling recommendations and garment recognition are generated by AI and provided as suggestions, not guarantees. Results may occasionally be inaccurate — the sherwani advice is ours, the fashion risk is yours.

Subscriptions

• Premium is billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms; manage or cancel in your store account settings.
• Prices shown on this site are indicative until confirmed in the stores at launch.
• Free-tier limits (such as item counts and AI styling quota) may be adjusted over time.

Shopping links

Shopping suggestions may be affiliate links. Purchases happen on the retailer's site under their terms; we're not a party to those transactions.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no attempts to break security or rate limits, resell the service, scrape other users' data, or use the AI features for anything other than personal styling.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

Grievances

For any complaint about the service or your data, contact us at saransh.mittal@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. Data-related grievances are handled as described in our Privacy Policy, consistent with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at your place of residence in India, or ours, shall have jurisdiction.
